OATMEAL SCRUB

  1. Oatmeal +lemon juice +yogurt

  • Two table spoons oatmeal + three spoons yogurt +half a lemon juice
  • Apply it on effected part on the face, especially nose
  • Scrub gently with the tips of the finger for a minute
  • Leave it on few minutes
  • Rinse it off with warm water
  1. Oatmeal +honey +tomatoes

  • One teaspoon +juice of four tomatoes + 10 table spoons of oatmeal
  • Apply the paste to effected part
  • Leave it for 10 minutes
  • Clean the face with warm water
  • Repeat twice a week

SUGAR SCRUB

Use jojoba oil in first preference, or grape seed, olive and sweet almond as substitutes

  • Four table spoons of oil +1 cup of brown or white sugar
  • Add it up in an air tight glass jar
  • Stir until it mix well
  • Wet your face and then spread the mixture with finger tips
  • Massage it on the effected part in a circular motion
  • Continue for two minutes
  • Rinse the face with warm water
  • Apply twice a week
  • Can be stored in an air tight jar for 2 months

BAKING SODA

  • Two spoons of baking soda + mineral water
  • Make a paste and apply it on the effected part
  • Gently massage with the finger tips
  • Leave the solution for few minutes
  • Rinse it off with warm water
  • Apply twice a week
  • Baking soda dries up the blackheads
  • Apple cider vinegar can be a substitute for mixing the paste.

CLAY MASK

Bentonite clay is available at any health food stores, or it can be surfed online.

  • One tablespoon of Bentonite + water/apple cider vinegar
  • Mix the solution and apply on the effected part
  • Leave it for 10-20 minutes
  • As, the solution dries it will tighten up the skin
  • Rinse it off with warm water
  • Repeat once a week
  • Use moisturizer after rinsing the face

EPSOM SALT

  • One teaspoon of Epsom salt + 3 drops of iodine
  • Mix it in half cup of boiling water
  • When mixture cools down apply it on the affected area with a cotton ball
  • Scrub a little
  • After few minutes rinse it with water
  • This blend helps loosen dead skin and clear pores

CINNAMON FLAKES

Cinnamon contains antimicrobial properties that works on removing dirt and excessive sebum

  • One teaspoon of cinnamon + one teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Spread on the affected area
  • Leave it for 10-15 minutes
  • Rinse it water and pat dry the skin

2      cinnamon + honey

  • One teaspoon of cinnamon + 3 teaspoons of honey
  • Prepare a thick paste
  • Apply in the face
  • Leave it for 40-45 minutes
  • Rinse the face with warm water
  • Repeat fortnightly

 

Though, all the above preventive measures are much helpful, but it advisable to refer to the dermatologists in severe cases.
